Founded by Woody and formerly known as Medieval Studios, we specialize in custom tattoos, fine line, realism, Irezumi, geometric, neo-traditional, traditional styles, and more. Our Story
At Artistic Outcasts Tattoos, we’re more than just a tattoo and piercing shop—we’re a creative community built on passion, experience, and expression. Founded by Woody, our story began over 27 years ago under the original name Medieval Studios. Woody made the bold decision to rebrand the business to Artistic Outcasts Tattoos to be the first in the phone book—and it stuck. Since then, we’ve become a trusted destination for body art and piercing in La Porte, IN, and beyond.
Woody and his team have brought their talents to our current location for over a year now, continuing a legacy that spans nearly three decades. What makes us different? It’s the welcoming environment, professional attitude, and the talent of our artists, each of whom brings their own specialties to the table. From black and grey realism to vibrant color, delicate linework to full custom pieces, our artists are equipped to bring your vision to life.
